navigating the blogosphere

The Captain's Quarters has joined the Truth Laid Bear ecosystem and is running in TLB's New Weblog Showcase with his post on Fareed Zakaria. Go read it :)

I follow some politics, but am soon discovering I can't follow everything. Ed posts well documented, thoughtful stuff daily. I am going to stick to the politics that affect me, for now, and read his weblog to catch up with what else is going on. I especially liked his post on German women having a place to drop their husbands while they shop.

Thanks for the trackback ping on the story -- I would have been mighty embarrassed to be skunked on this contest!

BTW, my wife thought the husband-day care thing was a great idea, until I told her about the Penthouse thing. Her enthusiasm seemed to flag a bit at that point!

That was really my only concern with it as well. It seems like a great idea for the men, and the women. A win-win. Kind of like having a bar and a workshop attached to a mall. Some kids used to go to arcades in the mall, this would be similar. :)

Still, I say give them a big screen TV with a game on or the History Channel ...wouldn't that work just as well?
