public service announcement

Next week, starting Sunday, is chocolate week on The Food Network.

(The only thing that really bothers me is Giada de Laurentis, who says she is addicted to chocolate, but she weighs maybe 90 pounds. Should we trust skinny chefs?)

Hey, knock it off about skinny chefs. Some of us just have high metabolisms. Although I expect it's slowing down now that I'm officially middle-aged.

Geez, never mind year of the monkey, this is becoming year of the chocolate. I've started seeing this guy and when I went to his house for the first time last weekend he showed off his two new cookbook tomes on chocolate desserts. I did bring him a slab of the Ibarra. I guess I must like him. :-)

Why not..if they make good chocolate desserts ... Mmmmmmmmmm..... chocolate!

You realize, of course, I am just jealous of the skinny chefs :) And the argument *could* be made that they are so good they don't have to keep adjusting and re-tasting...

*sigh* chocolate.

Nah. Adjusting and re-tasting is not a matter of being good at it. It's simply impossible to bake with chocolate without eating ingredients and/or batter. "Adjusting" and "re-tasting" - that's pretty funny.

mmmmm, chocolate batter. I like that almost better than chocolate cake. and I've had neither in quite a while.

I hope your new beau appreciated your chocolate gift. You really must like him.

Ali-the book was mailed yesterday.

Yes, i have see that chef on T.V..What is amazing is that she looks very thin.Beautiful but very thin.
While it is true there can be cooks who are naturally thin..Have you seen one of them that thin on the small screen?
I don't think she really eats the things she makes..who are they fooling?
