aren't I a monkey's uncle? (or aunt, as the case may be)

The problem I was seeing, dear friends, was because somehow I got some spyware on my system. I have spent the afternoon cleaning it up, suffering blue screens, and generally being pissy. I'm better now. I have had non-IE browsers recommended and I am considering a dual-boot machine for a while to see if I could live on Linux. I like the tinkerability of Linux, although it reminds me of a second car, the old convertible MG or Spitfire that you keep in the garage to tweak it and take it out on weekends to enjoy tooling about. But I digress.

If you are up at midnight CST on a Saturday, watch She Spies. Campy, cheesy fun. What Charlie's Angels should have been if it hadn't taken itself so seriously :)

If I ever find out who invented spyware, I'm going to kill them. I just spent 2 days cleaning my Dad's computer, which was relatively easy. The hard part was trying to explain to a 70 yr old the reason web sites want to put spyware on your computer.
