Counting Bodies Like Sheep
I found this anti-war video by A Perfect Circle on David's site. It's called Counting Bodies Like Sheep to the Rhythm of the War Drums.

size does matter
Doc and Scott are showing off the size of their iPod collections, and ask us to as well. Here's mine:
"we showed you ours, now show us yours" :)
addendum: I recieved an email from an anonymous reader ('cept to me) who has 6700 songs on her iPod with 500 in queue to be added at present. She is the winner so far. I will of course be burning more onto mine over the weekend...must. keep. up. :)

Evolve
Today in the mail I had the lovely surprise of a new CD from one of my new favorite bands, Gaia Consort. It's their latest, Evolve. You can get a copy from www.gaiaconsort.com or www.cdbaby.com. I highly recommend getting any cd you can from cdbaby, they give great service and are extra-special friendly to their customers.

random music meme
Doc does this one regularly, and I leave my iPod on shuffle, so here are this morning's songs. Too bad you can't edit for the embarassment factor.

3. When Thy Turuf is Thy Tour- Mediaeval Baebes/Worldes Blysse
4. King- Reverend Horton Heat/Spend a Night in the Box

6. Srange Face of Love-Desperado/Desperado soundtrack
7. Kya Mil Gay Kya - Gata Mangeshker and Mohammed Rafi/The Guru soundtrack
8. Let's Talk Dirty to the Animals- Gilda Radner?? another wrong format
9. The Motivation Proclamation- Good Charlotte/Good Charlotte
10. Alba- Mediaeval Baebes/Worldes Blysse

An Evening with...Siouxsie
03.03.04Coming to a US City near you in May & June, and you’re all invited..
We’re presenting these shows as “an evening with Siouxsie” as they’ll be neither solely Creatures nor Banshees but an all encompassing two hour show which will comprise classics & rarities picked from the whole of the Siouxsie & the Banshees & the Creatures catalogues.
We’re also thrilled to announce that ex-Kodo drummer Leonard Eto will be joining us as our special guest for the debut performance of songs from Hái!
The venues are mostly of an intimate size, (more sensorial), there’ll be no support so get there early as this will be one of those rare chances to see & hear la Sioux - up close!
see you soon,

The Creatures
It only hurts now & then
From sunrise to sunset
It's a long time since I saw you last
Thank you for your kindnessSleepwalking barefoot
Dangerous thought
In a looking glass ghost story
I wonder if for the first time
At the looking glass welcome partyIt only hurts now & then
From sunrise to sunset
It's a long time since I saw you last
I know it can't be helpedAbout this time

pull me off the ceiling
Hai is here!
Budgie's beat is incredible, and Siouxie's vocals are still all that. I got the import that has two CDs, the first with vocals and the second is all the songs on the first, sans vocals. Just awesome drumming, drumming, drumming with some melodic lines in there too.
